The Power of Over 27 Million Trees

Buy a product, plant a tree. That’s our promise to you — and the planet! Through our award-winning Forests for the Future™ initiative, Eminence Organics plants a tree for every retail product sold. With your help, we’re changing the world for the better.

Forests Can Change The Future
Why trees? Trees are key to combatting climate change. Did you know a single mature tree can produce approximately 260 pounds of oxygen per year while also:

  • Lowering air temperature
  • Supporting biodiversity
  • Preventing soil erosion
  • Improving soil fertility
  • Increasing water penetration

Each tree we plant together has the power to restore the environment. As a certified B Corporation®, we are committed to making a positive social and environmental impact. And we’re proud to see the difference these trees make in the lives of families around the world, and to the planet as a whole.

The Community Impact

We work with our partners at Trees for the Future (TREES) to provide education that supports our tree-planting efforts. We’ve helped train farmers in agroforestry and sustainable land use in more than 22 countries, enabling farmers in rural communities to break the cycle of land degradation, food insecurity and poverty.

This training is part of TREES Forest Garden Approach. Supported by Eminence and led by expert, local staff, the Forest Garden program helps equip farmers with the skills and resources needed to transform their land and livelihoods over a four-year period.

Forest gardens mimic a natural ecosystem and allow farmers to grow a more extensive variety of fruits and vegetables in a limited space. Forest gardens also add nutrients back to previously degraded soil, creating an environment that allows local fauna to flourish.

Forests for the Future™ contributes to these Forest Gardens by providing farmers with various tree species to plant. This allows farmers access to fruit trees, hardwoods and other crops that help them create a self-sustaining farm. The result? Improved soil health and biodiversity, greater access to nutrient rich diets and an increased source of income for farmers and their families.

Specialized Care

Forests for the Future™ also sponsors unique environmental projects to support the planet’s health. In 2022, we sponsored the installation of special water catchment systems in Tanzania. These systems can catch and hold up to 1.6 million liters of water, creating a reliable water source for the residents of Singida, Tanzania, an area affected by extreme drought. This project was awarded the International Spa Association’s (ISPA) Innovate Award in the Philanthropy Category.

27 Million Trees Planted Means:

  • Over 6,000 farmers trained
  • Over 50,000 community members on the pathway out of hunger and poverty
  • Over 900,000 metric tonnes of CO2 captured over a 20-year period
