Eminence Organics Is The First Skin Care Brand To Plant 10 Million Trees

Every April, more than one billion people around the world take part in Earth Day activities to keep our planet green. This year, Earth Month marks a special milestone for Eminence Organics: We have planted 10 million trees through our Forests For The Future™ program! We extend to you our deepest thanks for helping us achieve this goal. Here is how your loyal support has helped strengthen our environment and global community.

Forest Garden ProgressionFORESTS FOR THE FUTURE™

Every time you purchase an Eminence Organics product, we plant a tree in a developing country. As a Certified B Corporation®, we are committed to business practices that benefit the planet and make a lasting impact on the world. Through our Forests For The Future™ initiative, and in partnership with global tree planting organization Trees for the Future, we have planted trees in developing countries worldwide.

In 2016, we were honored to receive the ISPA Innovate Award for Philanthropic Initiatives for being the first skin care company in the world to plant five million trees.  With your help, we have now planted over 10 million trees to support the environment and communities in developing countries like Uganda, Senegal and Tanzania.

Do you know the power of a single tree? One tree:

  • Produces approximately 260 pounds of oxygen per year
  • Absorbs as much carbon in a year as a car produces driving 26,000 miles
  • Helps lower air temperature and combat climate change
  • Stabilizes the soil and prevents wind and soil erosion
  • Contributes to the fertility of land through nitrogen fixation and increasing water penetration

Did you know that Forests For The Future, in collaboration with Trees for the Future, empowers families in Sub-Saharan Africa and increases their income by 400%? Agroforestry helps provide families with the education and tools to create their own tree nurseries, called Forest Gardens. These Forest Garden Projects empower local people to grow their own food, restore their environment and build a sustainable source of income. Along with supporting basic needs, Forest Garden Projects equip communities with the knowledge, skills and resources to continue to benefit generations to come.

This Earth Month, we’re thrilled to celebrate planting 10 million trees with you. We could not have accomplished this milestone without your loyal support. Your dedication means the world with us and we promise to continue to work hard to exceed your expectations in the years to come!
