How does noshing on chocolate chip cookies help a children’s hospital? Well, the staff at Éminence were so enthusiastic to raise money for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation in Vancouver, BC and their Miracle Weekend, they threw a bake sale as well as several staff jeans days. By the time we finished fundraising, we were proud to donate a total of $10,500 to Miracle Weekend on May 30. 

“It is extremely important for us to support causes which positively impact the lives of children. As someone who experienced a childhood illness," says company president, Boldijarre Koronczay who survived leukemia, "I’m especially passionate about making a contribution that benefits a children’s hospital. I am proud of our team members for sharing in that passion and coming together as a team to fundraise for such a worthwhile organization.” 

With the funds raised, we joined the live televised event for Miracle Weekend to donate our cheque in person. Watch our cheque presentation in the video below:

Éminence also helps seriously ill children through our Eminence Kids initiative. Launched in 2014, Éminence Kids aims to provide sick children in North America and Europe with nutritious, organic foods and juices to aid in their healing and recovery.
